X-Plane 11 Scenery Addons Realistic Power Lines.
Realistic power lines is a small addon that makes those electrical tower cables look more realistic. If you have ever flown an aircraft they are pretty hard to see and in X Plane 11 they are probably many times thicker than real life.
Created by DLH560 this is a quick addon to try and as easy to revert should you not like the addons effect. I would say this on its own is not a huge deal but its a subtle addon that in addition to all the other addons makes X Plane 11 that more realistic.

Vivid Sky is a replacement texture pack option created by SmC12. This addon pack for X Plane 11. It is one of a number of options for free X plane 11 scenery addons available from Xplane.org.
These are freeware options and please ensure you follow the instructions and save the original files incase you wish to return to the old ones. The addons can be very personal and one person may love it and another may not. Be prepared to revert if that’s your desire.
What Vivid sky does is to improve the atmosphere, sky color, cloud and make lighting improvements. It also can create more realistic water animations but this is optional. The addon can also deal with some mesh glitches and offers better shadows. Lastly the addon can improve fog and how light interacts with it making circles at sunrise and sunset.
Reshade by Pilot83 is one of the most talked about X plane 11 scenery Addons. This is one of the most popular addons used by the X Plane 11 community.
This addon will allow you to adjust the clarity as well as the colors during the day. You can also download a number of presets for different times of the day from users. This is the latest version as of Feb 2021 so you may find a newer version available in the future should there be a need to make changes as Xp11 evolves. Reshade is also used on many other games so its a well worn program.

THis is a small LUA script which will make your clouds look amazing. Important this x Plane 11 scenery addon created by SpeedM is not compatible with Xvision – XP10 – FSENHANSER – XENVIRO – UWXP – SKYMAXX PRO and has not been tested in VR but has been verified in Vulcan.

X Plane 11 Scenery Addons – Enhanced Cloudscape Beta 2020.11.24
Enhanced Cloudscapes is a bets product but newer than the cloud art option above. This means you have some choices on which may suite you better. The Beta is compatible with Vulcan, VR and should also be fine with Active Sky and other injection programs.
The creator says the package will improve all cloud shapes like cirrus and now Anvil formations are added. These are very important when looking for the direction of downdraughts near storms. Lighting and light scatter has been improved in this November 2020 release. There have been improvements to atmospheric lighting and fog as well as various performance control datarefs are added to the Beta.

This 4K HD Moon replacement comes from a NASA photo and replaces the rater poor current moon representation which is quite low resolution. Add this to get amazing night moon shots next time you head out over the city or country side.
